Hi, I'm Charlotte
I have been making things with my hands for as long as I can remember. A lifetime of crafting, painting, and DIY has taught me one thing above all: almost nothing is truly worn out. A tired dresser, a dated frame, a piece someone left at the curb, most of it is one good coat of paint away from becoming something you love all over again.
Shabby Frames N More grew out of that belief. It is my small business and my happy place, tucked into the historic Bayard Antique Village here in Jacksonville, Florida. Part shop, part studio, part classroom, it is where I get to do the two things I love most: bring old pieces back to life, and help other people discover they can do it too.
Why I Reach for Fusion
Since 2019, Fusion Mineral Paint has been my go-to for furniture and all things craft. I tried plenty of paints over the years, and Fusion is the one I kept coming back to. It goes on beautifully, needs little to no prep on most pieces, and cures to a tough, washable finish without a separate topcoat. When you love a paint that much, sharing it becomes second nature.

More than anything, I love teaching. There is a moment in every class when someone steps back from a piece they were nervous to touch an hour earlier and realizes they made something they are proud of. That moment is the whole reason I do this. Whether you want to refinish an heirloom, make a hand-lettered sign, or simply spend an afternoon being creative, my job is to hand you the confidence and the know-how to turn your idea into a keepsake worth keeping.
